If the assembly idea can integrate certain aspects of the new (at least in NJ) climate change curriculum, it can be a way of teaching new aspects of the curriculum in an action-oriented way, that doubles as a way to give ideas to teachers who are new to this as well. Maybe student orgs/green teams can send out questionnaires to candidates for local offices running this year to have them put their sustainability plans on record to share with communities - Tara Stafford Ocansey
